Gastroenterologist Dr. Jill Smith Appointed to National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases

Gastroenterologist Jill P. Smith, MD, has been appointed the senior scientific advisor for translational and clinical research studies in digestive diseases for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, according to American Gastroenterological Association news item.

Dr. Smith is an AGA member.

 

AGA also noted that Dr. Smith was recently honored with the Penn State Department of Medicine Mentoring and Educator Award.
