Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., has begun to offer low-dose CT scanning for colorectal cancer screening.

Virtual colonoscopy, while not a substitute for colonoscopy as the primary colorectal cancer screening tool, is used at the hospital to acquire additional follow-up images.

Gastroenterologists of Atlantic Digestive Specialists and general surgeons of Surgical Associates of Rochester perform colorectal cancer screenings at the hospital.
