Boston Scientific co-founder John Abele receives lifetime achievement award

John Abele, the co-founder of Boston Scientific, will receive the Medical Design Excellence Awards 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award on June 9.

Mr. Abele co-founded Boston Scientific with his partner Peter Nicholas in 1979. He has since retired, but remains active in education and philanthropy.

Mr. Abele will also be a keynote speaker at the Medical Design Excellence Awards.
