FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital integrates GI, general surgery services

FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham, N.C., has integrated several gastroenterology and general surgery services at its FirstHealth Digestive Health Center in Rockingham, according to a Richmond County Daily Journal report.

The GI center is staffed by gastroenterologist T.J. Pulliam, MD, and four general surgeons, according to the report. The center offers “open access” scheduling for colorectal cancer screening, which allows primary care physicians to schedule appointments for patients through a simple process.
