ACG names 23 winners of colorectal cancer outreach award

The American College of Gastroenterology will honor 23 gastroenterologists and GI practices with its first annual SCOPY Awards at ACG 2015 in Honolulu on Oct. 18.

The SCOPY Award (Service Award for Colorectal Cancer Outreach, Prevention and Year-Round Excellence) aims to recognize ACG members for their efforts in colorectal cancer education, community engagement and awareness efforts.

Darrell M. Gray, II, MD, MPH, of The Ohio State University in Columbus, won the Grand SCOPY, the highest honor amongst the SCOPY Awards.
