First bariatric surgery center opens in Arkansas

Fayetteville, Ark.-based Roller Weight Loss & Advanced Surgery has invested $8 million into a new bariatric surgery center, Talk Business & Politics reported Jan. 5. 

The new 10,000-square-foot facility will offer bariatric, general, genecological and plastic surgeries. 

The facility will be the first accredited bariatric ASC in the state and one of 28 centers nationwide, according to the report. It will include four operating rooms and four overnight recovery rooms.
