FDA Panels Will Meet to Discuss Colorectal Cancer Screening for Asymptomatic Patients

The FDA’s Gastroenterology-Urology Panel and its Radiological Devices Panel will convene in a joint meeting to talk about computed tomography colonoscopy as a colorectal cancer scanning method for asymptomatic patients, according to a Mass Device report.

The meeting will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at the FDA’s White Oak Campus in Maryland. It is a public forum at which anyone can present data or opinions, both written and verbal.
