The biotech campus would be an extension of Exact Sciences’ research and development facilities.

“This is an opportunity to work with the city, build on our current footprint in Madison and partner with the University to continue grooming its aspiring talent,” said Exact Sciences Chairman and CEO Kevin Conroy.

Exact Sciences already operates the 35,000-square-foot Exact Sciences Laboratories and employees 425 Madison-based workers.
