Esophageal Disease Treatment Manufacturer Raises $20.5M

CSA Medical, a Baltimore-based developer of spray devices that treat esophageal disease, has raised $20.5 million in funding, according to a Baltimore Business Journal report.

The company produces a “spray cryotherapy” system that delivers extremely cold liquid nitrogen spray using endoscopy to treat esophageal disease. The funds will be used for post-market clinical studies and ongoing development to support the treatment.
