Dr. Krishn joins the medical center’s division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. He comes to the organization having recently completed training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Krishna specializes in endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography and luminal stent placement, particularly in cancer patients.
Dr. Krishna received his MD from Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology in the department of internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and John L. McClellan Veteran’s Hospital.
His research interests include solid and cystic pancreatic lesions, biliary obstruction, colon and esophageal cancer. He is focusing on the role of endoscopic ultrasound in pancreatic lesions.
