The EsophyX2 HD received FDA 510(k) clearance in September. The new product is designed to offer physicians use a larger range of endoscopes when performing transoral incisionless fundoplication for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease.
“Now, physicians with either traditional scopes or the latest endoscopic imaging technology may choose the scientifically proven TIF procedure for select patients,” said EndoGastric Solutions President and CEO Skip Baldino.
