Dr. Vivek Kaul Named Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of Rochester Medical Center

Vivek Kaul, MD, board certified gastroenterologist, was appointed the head of gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center.

Dr. Kaul began his affiliation with URMC in 2008 and helped the medical center to launch its offsite center, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy Center at Sawgrass.

Dr. Kaul earned his medical degree at Delhi University in India and completed his residency at SUNY- Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Milwaukee Pancreatico-Biliary Center.
