Dr. Kupfer met with the institute as a part of the recently formed Friends of NIDDK coalition, which aims to increase policymakers’ awareness of the organization’s research funding needs.
Dr. Kupfer, chair of the AGA’s Government Affairs Committee research advocacy subcommittee, listened to presentations given by NIDDK leaders Griffin Rodgers, MD, and Stephen P. James, MD.
