Dr. Rob Brandenburg joins Ohio gastroenterology team: 3 details

Gastroenterologist Rob Brandenburg, DO, joined Gallipolis, Ohio-based Holzer Health System, according to a May 28 announcement.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Brandenburg joins Holzer from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Ky.

2. Dr. Brandenburg performs endoscopy ultrasound, which is a minimally invasive procedure to assess digestive and lung diseases, as well as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, an endoscopic technique for examining and treating bile, pancreatic duct and gallbladder problems.

3. At Holzer, he will practice alongside nurse practitioner Melissa Nibert and gastroenterologists Brian Torski, DO, Ana Petrova, MD, and Mark Christopher, MD.
