1. Dr. McCrone earned his medical degree from Dublin, Ireland-based University College Dublin School of Medicine. He completed a residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and a fellowship at Jefferson, La.-based Ochsner Medical Center.

2. He will work alongside fellow gastroenterologist James Doull, MD.

3. Dr. McCrone is a native of Canada but enjoys the beauty and peace of Michigan.

4. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as traveling, golfing and skiing.
