Dr. Joel Lavine Joins Colief Colic Council

Joel Lavine, MD, PhD, has joined the Colief Colic Council, which is a panel of experts working together to educate parents on infant colic, according to a report by The Sacramento Bee.

Dr. Lavine is a pediatrics professor and chief of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.

The Colief Council, also led by Robert Sears, MD, and Arleen Lamba, MD, seeks to find the causes of colic and possible solutions.
