St. Lawrence Health System's Canton-Potsdam (N.Y.) Hospital added James Vecchio, MD, to its gastroenterology staff, North Country Now reports.

1. Dr. Vecchio earned his medical degree from Montreal, Canada-based McGill University. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Montreal-based McGill Teaching Hospitals.
2. He is an American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy member.
3. Dr. Vecchio has 38 years of practice experience.
