1. Dr. Sucandy will work out of the group’s Southewastern Center for Digestive Disorders & Pancreatic Cancer, Advanced Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery.

2. Dr. Sucandy is an advanced GI surgeon. His specialties include surgically treating pancreatic, biliary and liver disorders.

3. He completed a residency at Jefferson Health-Abington (Pa.) Hospital. Dr. Sucandy then had two fellowship, one in minimally invasive surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and a second in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

4. Dr. Sucandy is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery.
