Here’s what you need to know.
1. The device is a wide-view visualization device providing gastroenterologists enhanced visualization inside the colon.
2. Providers can use the device with any “commonly used” colonoscope.
3. The probe adds two additional cameras to a colposcope to create a panoramic video image.
4. Dr. Nowain said in a release, “[With the device], we are able to catch – and prevent – more cases of colon cancer than the traditional technologies.”
