Digestive CARE implements cloud-based EHR: 4 insights

South Fla.-based Digestive CARE selected the eClinicalWorks cloud-based 10e EHR solution for its 67 providers across 28 locations.

Here are four things to know:

1. Digestive CARE is transitioning from Greenway Health in Carollton, Ga., to Westborough, Mass.-based eClinicalWorks for its EHR. The cloud-based technology is designed to enhance quality care by enabling all providers to access essential health information.

2. eClinicalWorks also provides tools for practicing and tracking evidence-based medicine, with the aim of improving outcomes and controlling costs. It provides GI-specific tools to increase patient engagement and improve overall delivery of care.

3. Digestive CARE will also use the eClinicalWorks Population Health solution and the Health and Online Wellness solution.

4. Digestive CARE’s physicians treat and detect irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, acid reflux, colon cancer, colitis, Crohn’s disease and many other gastrointestinal disorders.
