Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, N.H., elected Timothy Scherer, MD, to its board of trustees, according to a Valley News report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Scherer is chair of gastroenterology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua (N.H.).

2. He is also the medical director of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua Endoscopy Center.

3. His clinical interests include ERCP and pancreaticobiliary disease.

4. He completed his GI fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass.
