The center will employ a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including gastroenterologists, pancreatic surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, nutritionists and genetic counselors who will create personalized care plans for pancreatic care patients.

It will offer services including pancreatic cancer screening, endoscopy and radiology, diagnostic imaging, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Tilak Shah, MD, will serve as Cleveland Clinic Weston’s pancreatic center medical director. He has been with Cleveland Clinic since 2022, previously working as the director of endoscopy and interventional endoscopy at the Central Virginia VA Health Care System in Richmond, Va.

Mayank Roy, MD, will serve as the center’s surgical director. Conrad Simpfendorfer, MD, is the center’s lead surgeon. Dr. Simpfendorfer has been with the clinic since 2006, specializing in liver and pancreatic surgery.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
