Chicago Gastroenterologists Release Book on Treatment of Benign Esophageal Disorders

A new book on the regional care style used to treat benign esophageal disorders by Chicago academic institutions was recently released.

Marco Fisichella, MD, of Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, co-edited the book, titled “Surgical Management of Benign Esophageal Disorders — The Chicago Approach.”

Each chapter was penned by a Chicago-based esophageal expert. The book discusses laparoscopy, thoracoscopy and endoscopy.
