What you should know:
1. The MSO is the result of Capital Digestive and Physician Endoscopy’s August partnership.
2. Kevin Harlen will serve as president of the MSO; Physicians Endoscopy President and CEO David Young will serve as CEO; and Capital Digestive President and CEO Michael Weinstein, MD, will work with physician and administrative leadership to identify growth opportunities. Several other Physicians Endoscopy and Capital Digestive leaders will take positions in the MSO.
3. The MSO will partner with private practice gastroenterologists to allow them to retain their independence while the platform handles administrative duties and shares best practices.
