3. Accepting the proposed payment cuts would have required staffing cuts across the clinic’s multiple locations, CEO Jack Groover, MD, told Jacksonville Business Journal.
4. The clinic’s existing Blue Cross and Blue Shield contract expires Sept. 15.
5. After Sept. 15, Borland-Groover clinic will no longer accept new patients covered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Existing Blue Cross and Blue Shield patients will have the option to accept out-of-network coverage, according to the report.
