Baltimore Washington Medical Center opens digestive health center

Baltimore Washington Medical Center opened a new digestive health center, according to a Capital Gazette report.

The center will offer medical, surgical and diagnostic services for patients with gastrointestinal problems. The center will include a 14-member team, which is already part of the hospital’s cancer center network.

There was no additional cost for the new center because the employees, the space as well as all other elements were already in place, according to the report.
