• An MD or DO degree
• Extensive experience in medicine and research, particularly clinical and/or translational research
• Specialization in internal medicine and gastroenterology
• Past editorial experience
• Ability to administer connect for a journal with a monthly circulation of 12,500
Deadline for the submission of applications and nominations is Nov. 1. The new editor-in-chief will assume the role in the first quarter of 2015.
