Akron Children’s names Dr. Reinaldo Garcia director of pediatric gastroenterology, expands GI services

Reinaldo Garcia, MD, joined Akron (Ohio) Children’s Hospital last year and has now become the director of pediatric gastroenterology, according to an MDNEWS report.

The role was previously filled by John Fyda, MD. Akron Children’s also added two new pediatric gastroenterologists: Sirvart Kassabian, MD, and Matthew Wyneski, MD.

Additionally, the hospital has established a non-invasive GI lab.
