Rome, Ga.-based Harbin Clinic added H. Whitney Jennings, MD.

Himanshu Verma, MD, joined the Southcoast Physicians Group’s gastroenterology department in Fairhaven, Mass.

Rohit Loomba, MD, of University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, led a team that found hepatic fibrosis may be linked to genetics.

Baltimore-based Mercy Medical Center is opening its new endoscopy suite, which will be under the direction of Paul J. Thuluvath, MD.
