4 new GI-driven ASCs & facilities — December 2017

Here are four gastroenterology-focused ASCs or facilities that were announced or opened in December 2017.

Note: All the facilities specialize in gastroenterology.

Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic launched a $65 million expansion to its Mankato, Minn., campus, adding 14 operating rooms and a gastrointestinal endoscopy center to the hospital.

Newberg-based The Oregon Clinic’s Gastroenterology South Division broke ground on a new location for a combined clinic and ASC in Newberg, Ore.

Southlake-based Texas Digestive Disease Consultants opened a new 11,000-square foot ASC, Lone Star Endoscopy, adjacent to its clinic.

The $50 million outpatient joint venture between Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health and Holland (Mich.) Hospital is on pace to open in March 2018.
