Here are four gastroenterologists who made headlines within the past week.

Gastroenterologist William Sandborn, MD, was appointed to Ritter Pharmaceuticals’ medical advisory board. 

Pinckneyville (Ill.) Community Hospital added gastroenterology services at its Specialty Clinic, and Nader Dababneh, MD, and Mark McCain, MD, of SIH Medical Group based in Carbondale, Ill., will both provide care there.

The American College of Gastroenterology elected Kenneth R. DeVault, MD, FACG, as its 2015 to 2016 president.
