4 GI-focused ASCs & centers featured in September

Here are four gastroenterology-focused ASCs and facilities opened or announced in September:

1. Guilford-based Connecticut Gastroenterology Consultants will open a medical office building with an endoscopy center in Old Saybrook, Conn., Oct. 2.

2. A team of gastroenterologists plan to develop a new medical office building in Missoula, Mont., to meet growing demand in the area.

3. Surgical Center of New Hampshire, in Derry, will open early next year. The center is a joint venture of Derry-based Granite State Gastroenterology, Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates and other specialty surgical groups.

4. Lehigh Valley (Pa.) Health Network entered into a joint venture with Allentown-based Eastern Pennsylvania Gastroenterology and Liver Specialists to build two new outpatient endoscopy centers.
