2 GI practices, 2 physicians merge to form Digestive Health Specialists: 3 notes

Kansas City, Mo.-based Consultants in Gastroenterology and Lee’s Summit, Mo.-based Summit Gastroenterology are joining with two physicians to form Digestive Health Specialists.

Here are three notes:

1. The two St. Joseph, Mo.-based physicians are Patrick McCormick, MD, and Scott McGuire, MD.

2. Effective Oct. 1, the two GI practices will come together with the two physicians to form Digestive Health Specialists, based in the Kansas City metro area and St. Joseph.

3. The new practice will include 28 providers practicing at nine hospitals, five offices and seven ambulatory surgery centers.
