Deborah Heart and Lung Center appoints new COO

Brown Mills, N.J.-based Deborah Heart and Lung Center has named Michael Lieb as its next COO. 

In the role, Mr. Lieb will oversee day-to-day operations at the center, drive strategic initiative and promote cross-department collaboration to continue clinical excellence, according to a June 17 news release from Deborah Heart and Lung Center. 

Mr. Lieb has more than three decades of senior healthcare leadership experience. He most recently served as interim vice president of ambulatory services at University Hospital in Newark, N.J.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lieb has led multi-hospital systems, academic medical centers, rural and critical access hospitals and complex physician group practices, the release said.
