HealthCare Appraisers and the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association collected data from 26 companies, including ASC managers, investment bankers and business brokers, to compile its report.
The number of ASCs respondents said they have under ownership:
Fewer than 10: 47 percent
11 to 20: 13 percent
21 to 30: 7 percent
31 to 40: 0 percent
41 to 50: 3 percent
Over 51: 30 percent

11 to 20: 13 percent
21 to 30: 7 percent
31 to 40: 0 percent

Over 51: 23 percent
