Longmont, Colo.-based UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital received the Project of the Year Award from the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, Longmont Observer reports. Here are four quick facts.
1. Longs Peak Hospital features an adjoining ASC, a Level III trauma center, operating rooms and advanced cardiac services.
2. The Longmont Economic Development Partnership granted Longs Peak Hospital the award for having the highest capital investment by a primary industry business in 2017.
3. The 210,000-square foot facility opened in fall 2017 and took 18 months to complete.
4. Other contenders for project of the year included Longmont-based Front Range Orthopedics & Spine and Avista Pharma.
