Here are three things to know:
1. The initiative, called Operation Hired, includes a virtual career fair for veterans, job listings and advice hotlines.
2. SSM Health wants to help transition veterans' military skill sets to the healthcare industry.
3. SSM Health provides healthcare in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
