Midvalley Surgery Center profiled as Aspen Valley Hospital highlights care expansion — 4 insights

Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital is executing its ”Population Health Innovation” initiative, expanding care options to serve more Aspen residents, the Aspen Times reports.

What you should know:

1. As a part of those efforts, Aspen Valley profiled the Midvalley Surgery Center in Aspen. The surgery center performs same-day gastroenterology, orthopedics and pain management.
Procedures.

2. Aspen Valley also offers imaging services through the Midvalley Imaging Center.

3. In 2019, Aspen Valley will complete several initiatives to expand its care footprint. Those include expanding available medical office space, upgrading technology and recruiting physicians.

4. Aspen Valley Hospital President and CEO Deborah Breen said, “All of these projects, programs and investments are undertaken with one single objective: to improve the overall health of our community.”
