Virtua seeks CON approval for $1B facility with ASC
Evesham, N.J.-based Virtua, a nonprofit health system, is seeking New Jersey State Health Planning Board approval to relocate Mount Holly, N.J.-based Virtua Memorial Hospital to a new campus equipped with an ASC in Mount Holly. The entire facility costs $1 billion.

Physicians divided on Medicare ACOs' effectiveness in driving cost savings, quality care
A Health Affairs survey of physicians participating in Medicare ACOs claims only 50 percent found the models effective in lowering costs and providing high quality care. However, more than 66 percent strongly agreed their quality care payments were compatible with their personal practice style, as opposed to fee-for-service payment models.

SurgCenter Development pushes proposal for $4.5M ASC in Michigan
