Majority of Americans support ACA in new poll: 3 insights

A new Gallup poll found a majority of Americans now support former President Barack Obama’s ACA, Time reports.

Gallup surveyed 1,023 respondents on April 4, 2017.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Fifty-five percent of Americans approve of the ACA. It is the first time in seven years that the law has had majority approval.

2. However, 40 percent of Americans want to make significant changes to the law. Twenty-six percent want to keep the law the way it is.

3. Only 30 percent of Americans want to fully repeal the law.
