All of Miami-based GastroHealth’s care centers and surgery centers in Florida’s Broward, Miami-Dade, Orange, Palm Beach and Seminole counties canceled appointments and procedures scheduled for Sept. 3.
GastroHealth centers affected include Ambulatory Endoscopy Center of Central Florida in Orlando, Baptist Health Endoscopy Center at Flagler in West Palm Beach, Baptist Health Endoscopy Center at Miami Beach, Kendall Endoscopy Center, The Outpatient Center of Boynton Beach and Westland Endoscopy Center in Hialeah.
Seven of Baptist Health South Florida’s centers are also closed Sept. 3: Wellington Diagnostic Center, Baptist Diagnostic Center in Miami, Miami Beach (Diagnostic & Endoscopy), Northpoint Surgery Center in West Palm Beach, Baptist Eye Surgery Center in Sunrise, Flagler Endoscopy Center in West Palm Beach and South Palm Surgery Center in Boca Raton.
Fort Lauderdale-based Broward Health closed its physician group offices, along with urgent care centers.
Hurricane Dorian began moving toward the U.S. on Tuesday morning after ravaging the Bahamas, according to CBS News. It was a Category 2 storm as of 11 a.m. ET Tuesday.
