The Yampa Valley Medical Center in Colorado finally selected Haselden Construction as the primary contractor of the new Outpatient Pavilion and Cancer Center, according to Steamboat Today.

Here are seven notes:

1. Haselden Construction was named Engineering News Record's 2014 Top Contract of the Year for Colorado and Wyoming.

5. The Outpatient Pavilion and Cancer Center will cost $14.3 million. The outpatient facility's construction will go in a series of phases with construction beginning this summer.

6. Phase I is expected to be completed in fall 2015.  It will include a new office suite for YampaCare for Women.
