Yuma Regional Medical Center to consolidate 2 surgery centers

Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center has two surgery centers, but it will close one on Jan. 31, according to a Yuma Sun report.

The closure will affect 24 jobs. The surgery center and hospital outpatient department have been performing at less than half capacity, resulting in the decision to close one surgery center location.
