Willmar (Minn.) Medical Services proposed a new outpatient surgery center, according to West Central Tribune.

Here are five things to know:

1. Willmar Medical Services’ proposed facility will replace Affiliated Community Medical Centers’ current facility.

2. Currently, Willmar Medical Services has no solidified timeline for the facility’s construction.

3. ACMC’s current facility opened in December 1986, and is in need of renovations and more space for providers to see patients.

4. Willmar Medical Services hired an architectural firm this year to help plan the facility. They also hired a construction management company.

5. Willmar Medical Services is a joint venture between Affiliated Community Medical Centers and Rice Memorial Hospital, also located in Willmar.
