The $58 million Providence medical park would include a surgery center, primary care, urgent care, pharmacy and imaging services.

Valley Hospital claims that Spokane Valley has no need for the additional operating rooms the Providence Health surgery center would bring to the area and Providence Health should be subject to the regular certificate of need process.

Valley Hospital’s appeal will be heard in February.
