UVA Health System opening new endoscopy center after 3 years — 3 insights

Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health System is opening its 23,000-square-foot Endoscopy Center in Charlottesville, CBS19 reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The center has been under development for three years. It’ll open officially July 17.

2. The facility has five procedure rooms and 20 prep/recovery rooms.

3. Bryan Sauer, MD, is serving as the center’s medical director.
