TriHealth acquires minority ownership of Urology Group’s surgery center — 4 insights

Cincinnati-based TriHealth acquired a 15 percent ownership stake in Urology Group’s outpatient surgery center, also in Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The 17,800-square-foot center is among the nation’s largest independently operated outpatient urology surgery centers.

2. The center is housed in a larger Urology Group building.

3. The center was constructed in 2011. According to the Business Courier, it is valued at more than $19 million.

4. The Business Courier previously reported on a 2015 deal between TriHealth and Urology Group for TriHealth to manage urology services for TriHealth.
