Texas health system to open $5.2M ASC: 4 points

Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System officials said they expect to open a surgery center in Brownwood, Texas, in May 2017, according to KTXS 12.

1. The surgery center costs $5.2 million.

2. The 13,400-square-foot facility will house three operating rooms and 13 recovery rooms.

3. Sixteen staff members will work out of the center.

4. Hendrick Health System expects to complete construction mid-April 2017.
