Texas’ Baylor Surgical Center to Build $35M Surgery Center

Baylor Surgical Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, said Monday that it plans to build a $35.1 million, 77,000-square-foot surgery center, according to a Dallas Business News report.

Construction is scheduled to begin in May on the three-story surgery center and to be completed in 2014. Baylor said it has outgrown its currently 34,000-square-foot building.

The new facility will offer a broader range of procedures, specializing in orthopedic, spine, pain management, urology, general, plastic and ENT surgery.
