Nashville, Tenn.-based Tenet Healthcare appointed two new independent directors amid a year-long board shake-up.

Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International acquired ownership stakes in Jacksonville, Fla.-based Borland Groover’s Jacksonville Center for Endoscopy in Southside, Fla., and Jacksonville Center for Endoscopy in Riverside, Fla.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision Healthcare cracked the Forbes 500 list for the first time, coming in at 198.

Houston-based HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division joined Greater Houston Healthconnect, the last major Houston-area health system to do so.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based WNY Medical Management’s multispecialty ASC project in Amherst, N.Y., will likely be approved.

Tampa, Fla.-based Physician Partners of America is in the midst of constructing two multispeciality healthcare facilities in Orlando, Fla., and Merritt Island, Fla., that’ll both prominently feature ASCs

San Francisco-based McKesson Medical-Surgical’s Jayme White, technology sales director, offered  Becker’s ASC Review three inventory management tips.

Lakewood, Colo.-based Pinnacle III Principal Partner Richard DeHart highlighted what ASC administrators need to do when searching for an ASC banking partner for Becker’s ASC Review.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association lauded the recently passed VA Mission Act that aims to reform the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ healthcare system and reimburse ASCs in a more timely fashion.
